Flomist Nasal Spray

Composition:

• Each spray delivers Fluticasone Propionate: 50 micrograms

Uses:

• Flomist Nasal Spray is indicated for the management of nasal symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. It helps alleviate:
  • Nasal congestion
  • Sneezing
  • Runny or itchy nose
  • Sinus discomfort

Dosage and Administration:

• Adults and Children (12 years and older): The recommended dosage is two sprays into each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning. Once symptoms are controlled, the dosage may be reduced to one spray per nostril daily.
• Children (4 to 11 years): One spray into each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning.
• Administration Instructions:
  1. Shake the bottle gently and remove the protective cap.
  2. Blow your nose gently to clear the nostrils.
  3. Close one nostril and insert the nozzle into the other nostril.
  4. Tilt your head slightly forward, keeping the bottle upright.
  5. Press the pump to release the spray while breathing in gently through the nose.
  6. Breathe out through the mouth.
  7. Repeat in the other nostril.
  8. Wipe the nozzle with a clean tissue and replace the cap after use.

Side Effects:

• Common side effects may include:
  • Nasal irritation or burning sensation
  • Dryness in the nasal passages
  • Sore throat
  • Headache
  • Nosebleeds
• If any of these effects persist or worsen, or if you experience signs of an allergic reaction (such as rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, or difficulty breathing), seek medical attention promptly.

Precautions:

• Medical History: Inform your doctor if you have a history of nasal infections, recent nasal surgery or injury, tuberculosis, or any other infections.
• Concurrent Medications: Discuss any other medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and herbal supplements, to avoid potential interactions.
• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
• Avoid Overuse: Use only as directed. Prolonged or excessive use may increase the risk of side effects.

Storage:

• Store Flomist Nasal Spray below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
