    Mupirocin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. It specifically and reversibly binds to bacterial isoleucyl transfer-RNA (tRNA) synthetase, an enzyme essential for protein and RNA synthesis in bacteria. This inhibition leads to the cessation of bacterial growth and replication.

    Dosage and Administration:

    • Application: Clean and dry the affected area before applying the ointment. Apply a small amount to the affected area 3 times a day. A dressing can be applied over the treated area if needed.
    • Duration: Continue treatment for the duration prescribed by your healthcare provider, typically up to 10 days.

      • Dryness
    • Serious Side Effects:
