Mechanism of Action (MOA):

• Paracetamol: Acts as an analgesic and antipyretic by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system.
• Phenylephrine HCl: Serves as a decongestant by stimulating alpha-adrenergic receptors, leading to vasoconstriction and reduced nasal congestion.
• Pheniramine Maleate: Functions as an antihistamine by blocking H1 receptors, thereby alleviating allergic symptoms like sneezing and runny nose.

Dosage and Administration:

• Adults and Children Over 12 Years:
  • 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed.
  • Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours.
• Children Under 12 Years:
  • Consult a physician before use.
• Administration: Swallow the tablet with water; can be taken with or without food.

Side Effects:

• Common:
  • Drowsiness
  • Dizziness
  • Dry mouth, nose, or throat
  • Nausea
• Serious:
  • Allergic reactions (e.g., rash, itching, swelling)
  • High blood pressure
  • Rapid or irregular heartbeat

Drug Interactions:

• Avoid concurrent use with other antihistamines, decongestants, or pain relievers containing paracetamol.
• Consult a physician before combining with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or other antidepressants.
