TusQ-Dx 100ml

• TusQ-DX 100ml is a combination cough syrup formulated to alleviate symptoms associated with dry cough and upper respiratory tract infections, such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, throat irritation, and watery eyes.

Active Ingredients and Their Functions:

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (15 mg/5 ml): A cough suppressant that acts on the brain’s cough center to reduce the urge to cough.
• Chlorpheniramine Maleate (2 mg/5 ml): An antihistamine that relieves allergy symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes by blocking histamine receptors

• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride (5 mg/5 ml): A decongestant that narrows blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion.

Indications:

TusQ-DX is indicated for the relief of dry cough and other symptoms associated with upper respiratory tract infections or allergies, including:

• Nasal congestion
• Runny or itchy nose
• Sneezing
• Watery eyes

• Throat irritation

Dosage and Administration:

• Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml, three to four times daily.
• Children 6 to 12 years: 5 ml, three to four times daily.

• Children 4 to 6 years: 2.5 ml, three to four times daily.

Dosage should be administered as directed by a physician.

Contraindications:

TusQ-DX is contraindicated in individuals with:

• Hypersensitivity to any of its components.
• Concurrent use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days of stopping such treatment.

• Severe hypertension or coronary artery disease.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include:

• Drowsiness
• Dizziness
• Dry mouth
• Nausea

• Vomiting

Precautions:
