Sinarest Pediatric Drops

Mechanism of Action:

• Chlorpheniramine: Antihistamine that helps reduce symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, and itchy eyes caused by allergies or common cold.
• Phenylephrine: A decongestant that reduces swelling in the nasal passages, helping with stuffy nose and congestion.
• Paracetamol: An analgesic and antipyretic that helps relieve pain and reduce fever.

Dosage and Administration:

• Children 2 to 6 years: 2.5 ml every 4-6 hours.
• Children 6 to 12 years: 5 ml every 4-6 hours.
• Administration: Take with or without food, but if stomach upset occurs, it is preferable to give with food. Always follow the doctor’s prescribed dose.

Side Effects:

• Common: Drowsiness, dizziness, stomach upset, or dry mouth.
• Serious: Rare allergic reactions such as rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing.

Drug Interactions:
