Lulisafe Cream

Mechanism of Action (MOA):

• Luliconazole inhibits the enzyme lanosterol demethylase, crucial for ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This disruption compromises the integrity and function of the fungal cell membrane, leading to fungal cell death.​

Dosage and Administration:

• Clean and dry the affected area before application.​

• Apply a thin layer of Lulisafe Cream to the affected area and a small surrounding region once daily.​

• For tinea cruris and tinea corporis: Use for one week.​

• For tinea pedis: Use for two weeks.​

• Wash hands thoroughly after application.​

Side Effects:

• Possible side effects include application site reactions such as itching, burning, redness, or irritation. If severe reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.​

Drug Interactions:

• No significant drug interactions have been reported with topical use of luliconazole. However, inform your healthcare provider about all medications and skin products you are using.​

Precautions:

• For external use only.​

• Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water.​

• Do not use occlusive dressings unless directed by a physician.​
