Indications & Uses:

• Candid-V Gel 30 g is formulated for the treatment of fungal infections on the skin and mucosal areas. It is particularly useful in managing conditions such as vaginal thrush, intertrigo, and other superficial fungal infections caused by Candida or dermatophytes.

Dosage and Administration:

• This gel is intended for external use only.
• For vaginal applications, follow your healthcare provider’s specific instructions regarding dosage and application technique.
• For other superficial fungal infections, apply a thin layer to the affected, clean, and dry area as directed by a doctor.
• In case of accidental contact with eyes or mucous membranes, rinse thoroughly with water.

Mechanism of Action:

• The active ingredient, Clotrimazole, works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane.
• This disruption compromises the cell membrane integrity, leading to leakage of cellular contents and ultimately fungal cell death.
