Betadine 10% Solution 100ml

Indications:

• Betadine 10% Solution is indicated for the treatment and prevention of infections in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns.

Dosage and Administration:

• Application: Clean the affected area and apply a small amount of Betadine 10% Solution directly to the wound. It can be used up to three times daily.
• Bandaging: The treated area may be left uncovered or bandaged, depending on the severity of the wound.

Mechanism of Action:

• Povidone-iodine releases iodine upon application, which penetrates microbial cell walls, leading to the disruption of protein and nucleic acid structures and resulting in the death of the microorganisms.

Common Side Effects:

• Some users may experience skin irritation or redness at the application site. If these symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

Precautions:

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
